Known as emu apples or native cranberries, muntries grow mostly on the south coast of Australia. With their sweet-spicy apple flavour, they can be eaten fresh or used in many sweet and savoury dishes.
Muntries are known to have up to four times the antioxidants of blueberries and are high in dietary fibre.
They also contain high levels of vitamin C and vitamin E and provide a rich source of minerals including calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and zinc.
